CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS SEMINAR

Continuity of Operations Planning is the efforts taken before a disaster to ensure that organizations can continue to fulfill their mission and businesses can continue to serve their customers.

This session will include an overview of Continuity as a Planning Process and an opportunity to dive deeper into specific topics of interest to participants. 

Utilizing the OPEN (Organizations Preparing for Emergency Needs) format with templates designed by SF CARD, this session will include information on the OPEN steps: Identify the People you Serve, Determining Essential Activities, Understanding Risk, Establishing a Communication Plan, Consider the Supply Chain, Mitigate Risks, Safeguarding Critical Information, Formalize Plans, Cross Train Key Individuals, and Regularly Test and Update Plans. 

If any of these areas is of concern to your organization, this is the class for you. We encourage multiple attendees from each organization.
